The Bank of India has announced jobs for the post of 2467 Clerks across India, teh job advertisement has been posted on the official website of the Bank. Given below are some of the main details of the Bank of India 2010 recruitment for clerk job

Out of 2467 Clerical posts, various seats are reserved for different States according to General SC, ST and OBC categories. As per the notification released by the Bank of India, the recruitment will be done state-wise or union territory-wise and each candidate can apply for only one state or union territory.

. Selection Process:
The final selection will be made on the basis of the candidate’s performance in Written objective test of 300 marks and Personal Interview of 100 Marks. In order to qualify for interview the candidate is required to obtain minimum 40 % marks in each objective test (35% marks for Reserved Category) and 50% marks in all the Objective Tests taken together. (45% marks for Reserved Category).
WRITTEN EXAMINATION (Objective) :–

The Written Examination/Test will be tentatively held on 26.09.2010, Sunday, at the Examination Centres indicated below. The full address of the venue of the Examination Centre will be advised in the Call Letters. The Call Letter will be sent to the eligible candidates by Post (UCP) and e-mail, well in advance of the date of written examination at the correspondence address given by the candidate in the Application Form. Eligible candidates, who do not receive the written test call letter may download the Duplicate Call Letter from the bank’s website www.bankofindia.co.in by entering his / her details after 20.09.2010.
