CFA’s demonstrates mastery of the skills needed for the analysis of the various types of investments with several decision makings in today’s fast-growing global financial industry. The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) programme is a self-study full time training programme or a graduate-level training programme for the executives related to financial feild who really want to enhance and upgrade their general knowledge and skills in the feild of corporate finance, investment and analysis ofbonds, stocks and their derivative. CFA programme designed in such a manner so that it can give the knowledge of each and every type of security types, quantitative methodologies and investment cycle such as initializing the risk and assessing their value and many more in depth to the CFA charterred.
SCOPE
These days the global financial industries inclined on CFA as the way of a growing career with the position in the industry. Some companies are like that it is nt necessary for them to appoint CFA but these companies also appoint CFA just to increase their worth and credit rating in the financial market. Some companies appoint CFAs as their Financial Advisor to shootsup their mobility. Today each and every industry pressurise on the practical experience, so, CFA is a good way to start the career for those who wants a career in finance industry.
ELIGIBILITY
To register for CFA first exam one should fulfill the following initial requirements:
1. Have a bachelor’s degree or the degree equivalent to it or be in the final year of the bachelor’s degree program at the time of registration or candidate should have four years of qualified, professional work experience or have a combination of work and college experience that totals at least four years excluding the Summer, part-time, and internship positions.
2. If the candidate have initially enroll/register as a final year undergraduate student with a degree in progress then the candidate will not be allowed to register for the Level II exam until the candidate have earned the degree, or obtained work experience that meets the program’s entrance requirements. At the time when the degree is awarded, the candidate may update their account education information to certify that the degree has been received.
3. All the exams of CFA are always held in English.
4. The candidate must have a valid international travel passport.
FEE STRUCTURE
The Test Fees of CFA is divided in to two components i.e. the fees applicable to new candidates said to be the enrollment fees is of $400 to $ 490 and second component is the examination fees or the test registration fees which is $710 to $970. One time $40 fees at the time of enrollment i.e the cirruculum e-book or the printed version fees will be saved if candidate select the eBook version but if candidate select printed version then $20 shipping charges will be paid and still $40 will be excluded and if the candidate select both the eBook and printed version $50 will be charged extra.
SYLLABUS
CFA charter should successfully pass the three levels of CFA Program. CFA program combines a broad curriculum for each of the three levels, 18 study sessions will be organized on it.Each study session contains assigned all the subjects which are necessary to demonstarte the practical knowledge of the candidate.
