The Oriental Insurance Company has announced recruitment for the post of Administrative Officer (Scale I) in specialized discipline of actuaries, Marketing/Sales, HR, IT, Accounts, Law, Engineering fields. More details about the 477 job openings are mentioned below. Eligible Candidates can apply on the official website from 28-01-2012 to 13-02-2012.The Written exam will be conducted on 08th,April 2012.
The job openings are in the following field.
1.Group A (Actuaries):- Post Graduate Degree in Maths/Stats/Actuarial Science with 55% or Graduation with 60% and pass in atleast 4 papers of exam by Actuarial Society of India.
2.Group B (Marketing):- PG Degree of MBA(Marketing/Sales) with 55% marks in aggregate.
3.Group C (HR):- PG Degree of MBA(HR) with 55% marks in aggregate.
4.Group D (I.T):-BE/BTech (Computer) with 60% in aggregate or MCA/MIT/MCM with 55% marks in aggregate.
5.Group E (Accounts):- ACS/ACWA/ACA or BCOM degree with 60% or M.Com with 55% in aggregate from recognized university.
6.Group F (Legal):-Bachelor of Law with 60% aggregate or LLM with 55% and 3 years experience as practicing lawyer is essential(2 years for SC/ST)
7.Group G (Engineers):- BE/BTech in Engineering(Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical & Civil Engineering) with 60% aggregate or Masters Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, & Civil) with 55% aggregate.
8.Group H (Librarian):- Bachelor’s degree in Library Science/Information Science Documentation with 60% or Masters degree in Library Science/Information Science Documentation with 55% also 3 years work exprience as Librarian is essential. (2 years for SC.ST))
9.Group I (Generalist):- Bachelors degree with 60% aggregate or Masters degree with 55%
Objective Test will consist of following sections 1) Reasoning 2) English Language 3) Numerical Ability 4)General awareness for posts under group I Professional Knowledge for Group A to H (instead of GA))
