The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is a test conducted by the Symbiosis international (Deemed University). The test is conducted at the National level to ensure that meritorious students are admitted to the various constituent institutes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) The test is conducted in various cities to ensure that maximum number of student get the advantage to appear for the entrance test and thereby get admitted to the prestigious Institutes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) Symbiosis is a place, which ensures that the student receives a high quality education and an all round personality development.
SCOPE
After qualifying SNAP Exam successful one can easily take admission in the symbiosis college of any state after getting MBA degree from Symbiosis College one will have marvelous career. The scope for a MBA graduate is unparalleled. Apart from attractive pay packets and placements being offered at college-level itself, it opens doors to various sectoral opportunities. The Indian Corporate world has seen many MBA professionals occupying top slots in the corporate ladder. Apart from Corporate careers, one can opt for entrepreneurship, work in co-operatives, NGO’s as the opportunities are literally unlimited. The all streams of the MBA are popular but now days Finance, IT, Marketing, Retail are more popular.
Eligibility
A graduate from any statutory university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) at graduation level. Candidates passing degree examination by part time / distance learning / correspondence / open school / externally or in one sitting are not eligible. Final year appearing students can apply but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) at qualifying examination.
How to Register For SNAP
Step 1. Register for SNAP Test at www.snaptest.org
You need to upload a latest scanned photograph of own at the time of online registration. This will generate your SNAP ID. For different modes of payment different ‘Payment Advice’ formats are created. Choose a payment mode and print a ‘Payment Advice’ form online.
Step 2. Pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1500/- according to the payment mode. You have 4 choices.
PAYMENT THROUGH CASH:
You may pay cash only at an Axis Bank branch. Print ‘Axis Bank Challan’ which is in 3 parts. Pay Rs. 1500/- in cash at any Axis Bank branch in your city. Refer to the list of branches on the website. The bank will return two stamped parts of the ‘Axis Bank Challan’ to you. The ‘Student copy’ is your receipt.
Sign the stamped ‘Symbiosis copy’ of the ‘Axis Bank Challan’ form of Axis Bank and send it to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat at the following Address,

PAYMENT THROUGH DEMAND DRAFT:
_ Get a demand draft for Rs. 1500/- from any Nationalize Bank in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune.
_ Sign the single copy of the ‘Payment Advice’ for DD and send it along with the DD to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat only at the following Address, Please keep photocopy of the same for further references.

ONLINE PAYMENT THROUGH NET BANKING:
_ online money transfer facility is available to pay your SNAP test fee to Symbiosis Test Secretariat account and you may also pay participating
Institute Application fees through this option.
Choose as per your choice and pay Rs.1000/- as Institute Application fee to desire institutes. For payment details please contact to desire institute or visit institute’s website.
_ The University will make the best efforts to send prospectus at the earliest possible time. Candidates are advised to contact University for prospectus purchased and any queries. The University will not be held responsible for non delivery or any delay on the part of courier / postal services. Also Symbiosis Test Secretariat will not be held responsible for any non delivery or any delay on the part of courier / postal services.
Step 3. Admit Card should be printed from the website. This will be operative from 7th December, 2010 to 19th December, 2010.
_ Print the Admit Card online.
_ Bring the Admit card with the Photo Id Proof to the Test Center. An acceptable photo identity is any one of Passport Driving license, College / Institute identity card, Credit card with photograph, Voter ID Card. At the time of the written test, it is mandatory to produce photo identity as described above.
Symbiosis Authorized Person will verify and authenticate your Admit Card against the photo-id.
Please preserve this authenticated Admit Card for further selection processes of individual Institutes.
[Please Note that no duplicate Admit Card will be issued in case it is lost by the candidate].
Important:
· SNAP Registration Fee is non-refundable. Please note that claims for refund of the SNAP Registration fee will not be entertained on any account.
· At the time of filling online application form or while appearing for SNAP test, any attempt to impersonate or indulge in any other malpractice would automatically disqualify the candidate from admission processes of all post graduate programmes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) and may also lead to any legal action deemed fit.

SNAP tests you on the following areas – Verbal ability (basics of grammar, vocabulary, usage), reading comprehension (fairly easy questions), LR and Quant (again fairly easy compared to CAT), DI and DS (again on the easier side), general awareness (something u need to be prepared for – a regular reading of newspapers will obviously help). A brush up of your basics will obviously help
