BSF or Border Security Force as we call it is Government of India body under ministy of home affairs. Border security force is known to protect the border of India. It was established in 1965. Its work is to prevent crime and maintain law and order near the borders during peacetime.
Directorate General Border Security Force (BSF) Applications are invited from Indian citizens for appointment for the following Group-A posts of Assistant Commandants in BSF :
- Assistant Commandant (Works) : 19 posts, Qualification : Degree in Civil Engineering
- Assistant Commandant (Electrical) : 07 posts, Qualification : Degree in Electrical Engineering
Age : 21-26 years
Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 grade pay Rs.5400/-
Application Fee : Application should be accompanied by a Crossed Bank Draft / Indian Postal Order for Rs. 50/- only for Gen/OBC candidates as the examination fee in favour of The Inspector General or
DIG/Comdt to whom the application is addressed payable at respective SBI/ post office.
Educational Qualifications:- Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university for Works and Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university for Electrical.
